Hit Like a Girl's
Debut Single on Cryptid Records

The lyric “You’re right, there’s no photos of us” could be perceived as a lovers concession, but in Hit Like A Girl’s first single from their newest record, this is far from the case. “Keepsake Theory” opens thunderously, the anger and yearning in Nicolle Maroulis’s impeccable vocal delivery is palpable. Taking inspiration from midwest emo, hardcore, and pop punk, this song artfully mixes blazing synth and drum lines, with the exasperation and longing that comes with missed romantic connections.
